Simon Pure’s 2018 Design Show

On Sunday 4th November we kicked off Simon Pure’s 2018 Design show at our Guildford boutique. This was quite possibly our busiest and most unique yet, so a big thank you to all of you who attended. This year saw beautiful, one of a kind gemstones along with fresh fluid designs breaking the rules on how to wear your jewellery, giving a distinct Simon Pure look.

Our creative director Steve Parsons and our amazing workshop team at Smithbrook Kilns have been working hard all year long perfecting our brand new pieces which are certainly not to be missed.
Most of us have our ears pierced and likely have a jewellery box with our favourites but will now be making room for the new designs from Simon Pure. Our designs now follow up the ear for a fashionable statement with semi-precious stones added for a spark of colour, with collections such as Dragonfly and Damselfly giving the choice to wear asymmetrically, making it unique to yourself.

A new favourite is the Kite collection with its soft art deco like curves in silver and a glimmer of colour with Sky, Swiss and London blue topaz perfect for day or evening wear. Also showcased at our boutique was a unique checkerboard facetted Amethyst and a Rubellite pear drop, but if you prefer an alternative colour you can choose one of the many semi-precious stones we work with.
Whilst on the subject of gemstones, the Luna pendant featured two extraordinary Danburite stones from San Luis Potosi, Mexico. These stones are not only as white as a diamond and have excellent clarity, but they also are completely natural and known for stress and anxiety relief, a perfect excuse for a charming Simon Pure pendant.

Throughout the show it would be hard not to spot some of the fantastic new rings some of which are limited editions. For instance the Gatsby rings are a call back to the roaring 1920s all hand pave set with diamonds and a large spinel with tones such as Loganberry and Lavender that look simply divine with colours that are unrepeatable.
The theme of mixing metal tones together also was apparent with White and Rose golds being used and adorned with exclusive Wineberry or Deep Damson Sapphires from Madagascar and Sri Lanka.

We also saw the edition of new Engagement rings to go alongside our award winning designs. Instore saw the new Panache ring featuring a 0.25ct and 0.40ct round brilliant cut diamonds encased with sweeping metal and compass set claws. Perhaps already a fan of the regal Coronet ring we now have a stunning six claw alternative to add to the family, side set with diamonds and a 0.56ct brilliant diamond. The Entwine edition now features a new Princess cut blue Sapphire which can also be hand made with a Princess cut diamond showing that an engagement ring not always needs a round brilliant.

A striking new collection by the name of Embrace settled in store with round centre stones such as Tsavorite , Sapphire and Diamond all embraced by 18ct yellow and white gold pave set with diamonds. Whether you may be after vintage or modern this stunning new ring ticks all the right boxes and just like all of our engagement rings and collections gemstones, metals and carat weights can be changed to fit specifications.
Along with the brand new designs our most beloved collections from the 2017 design show were able to shine again with new additions to the range such as the stunning new Rockstar studs in Aquamarine, Amethyst and Garnet just oozing glamour. We also saw the addition of two new Twilight rings designs which now feature the option of a 9ct metal that was seen throughout the show. Willow now features a horizontal pendant with six graduating black fresh water pearls on an omega wire, which could also be made with white fresh water pearls for a more classic look.

We would love for everyone to come and view our new pieces on show and perhaps you might even find your perfect gift for a loved one or yourself.
